Some of these spas I’ve run into depending on the model do have contactors that can get stuck and trip the breaker. That or the pump motor is starting to fail due to it pulling too much current.

If your bend is a longer you can use the star and turn the bender around giving you the correct bend without deductions

Now saying "if you test anywhere and see zeros you know circuit is dead" is dangerous. I know its a rare case, but if someone's going along nailing in cross members or something, and they happen to put a nail through the romex that connects hot to ground, and you then probe between hot and ground, your meter will show you 0Vs as now there is no difference in voltage between the two points.

Your not soposed to touch both ends of the wire with your fingers when testing resistance because your body will change the value.
